Help Us Stop Development of Burlington’s Green Space

Millcroft Against Bad Development, commonly known as M.A.D., represents over 5,800 members of the Millcroft Community and Burlington. Our mission is to maintain the existing Millcroft Golf Course lands as Major Parks and Open Space.

We are focused on organizing the community voice and resources in opposition to Millcroft Green’s application to infill the golf course with residential housing. The Millcroft golf course, which is completely embedded inside our community, was designed to provide three essential needs: to provide a home to our abundant Wildlife, to act as a Flood Management System for stormwater events, and to provide Environmental Open Space for the health of both our 10,000 Millcroft residents and neighbouring communities.

MAD is well organized, passionate, and has aligned with various other organizations related to environmental protection and smart development. M.A.D. intends to formally oppose all efforts to introduce residential development on the existing Millcroft golf course.

Your support will make a difference.

We are fundraising to stop the proposed development in Millcroft as well as future developments of Burlington’s current green space.

Your donations will cover fees for our lawyers, planners, as well as community outreach and marketing. We thank you for your support.

M.A.D. is pleased to announce that we are partnering with Small Change Fund (SCF), an award-winning crowdfunding platform that will allow donors to obtain a charitable tax receipt.
