City & Region Petition.
This petition will be presented to Burlington’s Mayor Marianne Meed Ward, Councillors, Premier, Ministers & MPPs and the City officials, to show we oppose the development of residential properties on Millcroft Golf Course.
Millcroft Greens’ proposal is to redesign the existing Millcroft golf course and introduce select parcels of residential development.
M.A.D.’s mission is to preserve the integrity of the existing Millcroft golf course and retain its original and current zoning of “Zone 01 – Open Space.” Our mission was created in response to Millcroft Greens’ development proposal to place residential development on the Millcroft golf course.
The Millcroft golf course supports an established natural ecosystem, provides much-needed green space in north Burlington, is critical to flood water control, and is the heart of the community. It is in all Burlington residents’ best interests to preserve this invaluable parcel of green space.
If you object to any rezoning of Burlington’s “Zone 01 – Open Space” for residential development (including the Millcroft golf course), please sign this petition.
